Tennis Coaching Agreement
Business Name: Home Court Advantage
These terms apply to all participants booking or taking part in tennis lessons with Home Court Advantage.
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you confirm that:
- If you are booking for yourself as an adult, the Adult Participant Terms apply.
- If you are booking on behalf of a child, the Parent/Guardian Terms apply.
- Participation and Risk Acknowledgement
For Adults:
Tennis is a physical sport and carries a risk of injury (e.g. muscle strain, falls, impact with equipment). By booking, you confirm that you (or your child) are fit to participate and accept this risk.
- Health and Emergency Consent
You agree to inform the Coach of any medical conditions or injuries that could affect safe participation. In an emergency, you authorise the Coach to seek medical assistance and accept responsibility for any related costs.
- Liability Limitation
Home Court Advantage and its Coaches are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless it results from gross negligence or wilful misconduct. This clause does not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Media and Promotion
Photos or videos may be taken during lessons and used for training, marketing, or social media purposes.
By booking, you consent to the use of your (or your child’s) image. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@homecourtadvantage.net.
- Property Damage
I understand that if any property (e.g., windows, fences) at my home is damaged during a lesson, Home Court Advantage and the Coach are not responsible for repairs or compensation unless caused by serious negligence.
- Cancellations & No-Shows
If a lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, 50% of the session fee will be charged.
If the participant does not show up or cancels last-minute, up to 100% of the session fee will be charged.
Lessons affected by unsafe weather conditions, such as rain, lightning, or extreme heat, will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time and will not incur a cancellation fee.
Refunds or rescheduling may be considered in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of
Home Court Advantage.
- Weather Policy
Lessons may be rescheduled or paused due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g., rain, lightning, or extreme heat). Home Court Advantage will notify you of any changes and reschedule at a mutually convenient time.
- Privacy Statement
Home Court Advantage may collect personal information (such as contact details and health information) to deliver tennis coaching services safely and effectively. We handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your information will not be shared or used for unrelated purposes without your consent.
- Parent/Guardian Consent (For Minors)
If you are booking on behalf of a participant under 18, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on their behalf.
- Governing Law & Severability
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Agreement & Consent
By ticking the checkbox during the booking process, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
- You agree to be bound by them for yourself or on behalf of your child.
- If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm all participants (or their guardians) have been made aware of and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
